Jordan Vauvert Connect | Isolate n'est que la deuxième œuvre de Holon mais fait déjà office de tremplin pour Mark Rydyger. D'un point de vue musical, le cyberpunk y présente plusieurs visages : grâce à une subtile touche d'electronica, il prend par moments une direction ambiante, dessinant des paysages futuristes harmonieux ("Fractured Dreams", "Surrounded By Silence"). Mais cet album pose aussi une certain nombre de questions sur l'avenir et le fait avec des pistes dans lesquelles l'inquiétude est dominante. Favorite track: Agents Of Chaos.

It's hard to pick a favourite track. This is the only album i have so far deemed as "perfect", where every track, even the intro, is just a masterpiece in its own right. From the hard hitting Perturbator's Theme to the emotional title track, its 68 minutes of perfection. 10/10. connivingkhajiit

Un de ces projets que j'ai pris le temps de découvrir grâce à Poesy Rider (qui connaît tous les bons trucs, ça ça ne change pas). Survival Mechanism, premier album de l'entité sylac, fait un mélange de synthwave et de musique industrielle. Ne cherchez pas chez lui les envolées de pure agression comme avec PERTURBATOR ou Carpenter Brut : ici, tout est agencé de manière glaçante ("All According To Plan" dont le titre est cruellement juste), probablement parce que les machines ont déjà gagné...
